Homemade Low
Sodium Pizza

Low Sodium Sauce Recipe

What Yoiu'll Need..

Use on Pasta or our Homade pizza's (click here for recipe) (90mg per/serving)
1 - 6oz can - Contadina Tomatoe PASTE 20mg per serving
2 - 6oz cans - Water 12 ounces total
1pk - Splenda Sweetener
1 1/2T - Olive Oil (May substitue or mix Edova for less trans.)
1/4t - Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb
1/4t - Mrs. Dash Tomatoe & Basil
!/4t - Italian Seasoning (MAKE SURE 0 Sodium)
1/4t - Pepper
Be imaginitive on the pepper!
1/2 Yellow & Reb Bell peppers
1clove - fresh garlic

(you can reduce sodium if you can locate or order unsalted tomatoe sauce!)

Directions

Put your oil in the bottom of a sauce pan or fry pan and add garlic, onions and peppers.
Cook until soft. Add water then seasonings. Simmer at least 20 - 30 minutes but the longer you simmer the better. If you like to simmer you sauce for a while, you may need to add in more water.

When done use on your pizza or pasta

GREAT IDEAS FOR THIS RECIPE

Make extra and freeze it. Also, you may add or subtract as much water to
this recipe as you desire for the thickness of sauce you enjoy!
