Portabella Mushroom Burger

What You Need

1 Large Portabella Mushroom Per Burger

1 Cup of Low Sodium Beef Broth

1/4 cup of your Homemade Vinegar and Oil Dressing (our recipe)

1 clove fresh garlic

1/4 onion sliced up

1/4 teaspoon of red pepper (optional)

1 Low Sodium Hamburger bun per burger (our recipe)

Directions

Use one packet Herbox Low Sodium Beef Broth in one cup of water. Heat up broth per Herbox instructions. In a bowl large enough for the mushroom to fit, pour in the broth, vinegar & Oil, garlic (cut up), red pepper and onion slices. Remove the stems from the caps of the mushrooms and lightly rinse. Marinade the mushrooms in the broth mixture for at least 20 minutes, turning every now and then to evenly marinate both sides.

Remove the mushrooms from the marinade and place on a hot grill or broiler. Grill as you would a hamburger flipping it till grilled on both sides. Place on your bun with your favorite burger toppings and enjoy!
