Old World Hungarian Hamburger

What You Need...

1 Lb. Lean Ground Meat (Ground Chuck or Sirloin)

1 Can No Salt Added Mushrooms or 5 Fresh

1/4 Medium Onion

1 Clove Fresh Garlic

1 Large Egg

2 Slices Low Sodium Bread (If you use Regular bread use 1 slice and add the sodium amount into the total)

1.4 tsp. Parsley Flakes

Salt Substitute and Pepper (Preferably fresh ground) - To Taste

Mix all your ingredients together in a bowl, squishing together between your fingers until thoroughly mixed. Form 5 patties from the mixture, each will be about a 1/4 Lb Hamburger and grill as you normally do on a grill or in a fry pan. Serve with your favorite condiments being sure to watch the sodium of each. Low sodium ketchups are readily available. These burgers are great without buns. Sodium content below does not include a bun! Makes 5 burgers, content below for 1 burger with out a bun.
