This very low sodium, sugar free Cranberry Sauce recipe is sure to be a hit this Thanksgiving dinner. It is easy to make and doesn't require a tone of ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
1 12 ounce bag of fresh cranberries
3/4 cup ®Splenda
3/4 - 1 cup of water
1 Orange or 1/4 cup of orange juice
DIRECTIONS
Bring the water and Splenda mixture to a slow boil. Squeeze the orange juice into the slow boiling Splenda and water mixture. Add the cranberries and allow a slow boil stirring occasionally. After the cranberries have softened begin to smash them down a bit with a large spoon or potato masher. You can achieve your desired thickness of your cranberry sauce during this process. If you like a more whole cranberry style sauce don't smash it as much. Total boiling time should be about 12 to 14 minutes.
